Independent Kingdoms Update
Kingdoms Rebuilt Around Independent Territories
Kingdoms now focus on fast local decisions, hourly growth, directional warfare and valuable daily catastrophes without Realms, Capitals, Ages or Kingdom building levels.
What changed
- Every Kingdom is independent. Each territory keeps its own Treasury, Meat, Population, Morale, Guard, Runes, Army and four-sided Fortifications, with no Realm or Capital management layer.
- Fresh claims begin with 1,000 Population, 100% Morale and the first Guard. Army costs one personal Gold per unit, Meat can be bought or deposited at 1:1, and Runes cost 1,000,000 personal Gold each.
- Any player visit keeps that exact coordinate active for 24 hours. Active Kingdoms grow Population, Meat, every Army type and every Fortification each clock hour while Treasury interest compounds separately.
- Sovereignty remains a monster-combat Battle Skill. It controls growth, interest, rolling attack capacity, concurrent one-hour local transports and lower-level Treasury command limits.
- Warfare resolves instantly against an occupied cardinal neighbour through Siege Batteries, Moats, Walls, Bastions and Last Stand. Surviving attackers stay at their origin after a conquest.
- Guards return at the next exact clock hour after defeat. Bribes, Runes, Morale recovery and Coups below 5% create a direct local struggle for vulnerable territory.
- The five daily Catastrophes now distribute five different high-value bonuses across the five Planes: Battle XP, Gathering XP, Equipment find chance, Gathering yield and Battle Skill breakthrough chance.
- A Catastrophe damages its center and eight surrounding Kingdoms. The center receives the heaviest losses, 24 hours of faster recovery growth, seven days of Coup protection and a fourteen-day Meat recovery objective.
- Kingdom management is organized into Overview, Treasury, Morale & Guard, Army, Fortifications, War, Transport, Portfolio and History, with mobile-safe controls and complete audited Admin editing.
- The retired coloured Bonus Spots and timed Plane Anomalies are no longer active gameplay systems.
